The mission of Community Investment Futures (CIF) is to enhance the capacity of Community Action Agencies throughout America to design, develop and deliver local community economic development and asset building solutions that improve community conditions and increase the self-sufficiency of those in poverty, especially the working poor and their families.

Community Action Agencies work to alleviate poverty and empower low-income families throughout the United States. This includes serving as a catalyst to strengthen communities by redeveloping neighborhoods, creating affordable housing, starting businesses, making loans, creating new homeowners, and building community facilities.

Our web site is designed to promote successful community development ventures established by Community Action Agencies across the U.S. and to build further interest and expertise among CAA’s to institute community development ventures in their own geographic areas.
